LEDERER

A lifelong commitment

At Lederer, service is not a commercial obligation. It is a moral commitment to every timepiece we create. Each watch is designed with longevity in mind, and our responsibility does not end when it leaves the manufacture. Through dedicated care, technical continuity, and respect for the original architecture, we ensure that every creation may endure, perform, and be transmitted across generations.

Service at the Source

All servicing and technical interventions are carried out exclusively at our manufacture in Neuchâtel.

Each timepiece returns to the environment in which it was conceived and assembled, ensuring continuity of knowledge and intent.

Our watchmakers are trained directly on LEDERER calibres, allowing every intervention to be performed with precision, restraint, and full respect for the original architecture.

By keeping all service operations in-house, we preserve the integrity, performance, and spirit of each creation over time.

Our Philosophy of Service

At LEDERER, service is approached as an act of continuity rather than correction.

Each intervention is carefully considered, with the objective of preserving the coherence, performance, and character of the timepiece, rather than altering or standardising it.

Our watchmakers intervene only where necessary, respecting the original architecture and finishing, and ensuring that every creation continues to express time as it was intended from the very beginning.

The different stages of service

1. Reception & Assessment

Each timepiece is carefully received at our manufacture in Neuchâtel and undergoes a detailed technical assessment. The movement, case, and components are examined to understand its condition, history, and specific needs.

2. Disassembly & Diagnosis

The watch is fully disassembled by our watchmakers. Every component is inspected individually, allowing us to identify wear, evaluate performance, and determine the precise scope of intervention required.

3. Servicing & Regulation

Necessary components are serviced, adjusted, or restored with absolute respect for the original architecture and finishing. The movement is then reassembled and regulated to ensure optimal chronometric performance and mechanical coherence.

4. Testing & Return

Before returning to its owner, each timepiece undergoes extensive functional and performance testing. Only once it meets our standards of precision, reliability, and integrity is it returned, ready to continue its journey on the wrist.

Machining

Beneath every exceptional timepiece lies an invisible architecture shaped to micron-level exactness. In our machining atelier, the finest alloys are sculpted into components of uncompromising precision, the very foundation upon which true chronometry is built.

Watchmaking

Here, every component finds its purpose. Our watchmakers bring life to the calibre through a dialogue of balance, force, and motion. A meticulous process where the CIC architecture and its dual gear trains take shape under the hands of dedicated artisans.

Finishing

Finishing is the final signature of our work. From hand-polishing to beveling and frosting, each gesture enhances the beauty of the mechanism and preserves a centuries-old tradition, transforming precision into emotion.
